Services Provided

In-depth assessment and diagnosis to establish accurate level of functioning.

Recommendations for specific strategies to work towards developmental, educational and behavioural aims.

Establishment of intensive individualised programs aimed at behavioural, educational and developmental goals. Intensive personal workshops are available for country, interstate and overseas children.

Access to trained hands-on staff to provide therapy and to work directly with the child on programs as necessary.

Individualised therapy conducted in the child's natural environment (home, school or day care).

Consultation to assist with decisions for the effective management and education of school age children and liaison with teachers and carers as required.

Individual parent counselling and support.

Counselling for older children and adolescents.

Support and information via participation in parent groups.

Referral to, and liaison with, other services when necessary.

Some of these services provided by psychology may be subject to private health fund reimbursement.
